Altic IT is a young, fast-growing technology company specializing in data platform, artificial intelligence (DI), machine learning (ML) and analytics solutions that it designs, implements and develops for its customers in the Baltics and Scandinavia. Among the company's customers are the largest telecommunications, logistics, e-mail. trade, financial services companies and public sector organizations. The company offers its customers solutions based on advanced IT software, based on cloud computing, which are tailored to the needs of a specific customer's business, using big data analytics, DI and ML solutions.
The company employs about 40 specialists, and the volume of activities is approximately doubling during the year.
Data Engineer
- Together with the team, develops, deploys and maintains data platforms where our customers collect, store and process business-critical data from internal and external data sources
- Transforms data and prepares it for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and analytical needs
- Ensures reliable operation, speed and high reliability of the data platform and data transformations
- Works with large data, unstructured data
- Works with cloud-based data platforms, constantly adding new data sources and data needed for business insights and the development of innovative customer products
- Applies modern data engineering principles and methods (agile, CI / CD process, data management principles and tools - data mesh, data catalog)
- Has at least 3 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining data platforms and management solutions (including data pipelines, transformations (ETL / ELT), data warehouses, and databases)
- Works with or is familiar with modern data management tools such as `dbt` tool for data transformation management, MS Azure Synapsis (Data Factory, Databricks, Cosmos DB), AWS services for data collection, storage and processing (eg S3, Redshift, Kinesis), Terraform data infrastructure management solutions, Airflow, GitLab and others.
- Data engineers work on a variety of technologies in our projects, so we don’t expect a candidate to know them all. Strong foundations and a willingness to learn are essential
